the majority of DM takes place in the middle of the map, with the exception of fighting in yard sometimes on maps like badlands, granary etc

don't really see what the fuss is over that, if you wanna play strictly mid and spawn no where outside of that area play mge

let me sum it up for you this way mate, if a team spawned up on one side of the map that would defeat the whole purpose of DM.

funboats are the way to go for a whole map no matter what. yeah its nice to have the shotgun if your team has their backs against the wall on last for example, but its all about moving quick quick quick.

you don't wanna waste time constantly switching off weapons for a push out of last. even if its a few seconds, you don't wanna miss that window. within that amount of time you could of helped your team cap or shut down a choke/flank to secure the point.

even if you aren't holding last, its just easier move on flanks or jump through chokes and make openings for your team, if you do that with a shotgun it might not be so pretty. you'll die a hell of a lot faster, even if you get a buff its wasting time and heals for the rest of your team.

dm is a classic mod in any fps whether its quake, cs or tf2 and its always fun. but hey to each their own i guess.

honestly i think there should be a vanilla style DM server as well as the current servers (with a proper updated ESEA whitelist). so if people wanna play with all the retarded unlocks then by all means, but if you wanna go to a server that is just the regular weapons and no charge n targe, DH etc then you will have the option to do so

i feel like there was already a thread like this before, essentially who ever runs these servers just stays off the grid. someone handed out admin to like 4 people and the whitelist is still outdated all the time. please maintain the servers better why is that so difficult when so many people use them on a regular basis

i still think charge n targe should be banned, yes i know its legal in ESEA but its never ran in matches so its pretty much useless in DM (unless you're solidsnake a few seasons ago)
