why does ESEA always have the worst casters imaginable, need roomonfire for this seriously
the best thing in twitch chat so far during ibuypower and virtuspro
Meow_mixups: This guy sounds like principal skinner
first person to take a picture with pasza biceps and post it here ill give a hat to, 2 hats if its a video and he says no homo, my friend or biceps is always with you
it was crucial because it was legit impossible to restrict/ban. ban someone and they can automatically reconnect on a proxy. multiple clients can easily evade bans on those networks and there was no control over it at all
i know you were on a bit of a hiatus since you came back so let me fill you in
The addition of tf2mix wound up splitting the community anyway
it really didn't, tf2mix has players from every division active in it. like i said earlier people that were active in pug na just use mix now think of it has pug na with a different name. tf2 center basically replaced lobbies, tf2center still serves for players that are really new to 6s so its not splitting us its more of a stepping stone, new players in mix come from tf2center/lobbies etc...they start in that and eventually make the jump to play with people who are more experienced.
also like i said earlier as well, in house pugs are active again whether its invite or syops etc...you're not new to this you know a lot of teams have their circle jerks and simply just wanna pug with each other and never really cared for stuff like pug na.
no one is lost on the network switch it was months ago, cinq and all the other admins that ran pugna/mix ultimately made the choice to move networks and now everyone has control over bans/restrictions
even though pug na is inactive now there are still 40 people idle in it and 45 in mix. also pugs have a very small window when they're played i.e late afternoon till about 8ish when people start scrimming. i know it seems like a ton has changed but i can assure you its not that different compared to a while ago
flame the main reason behind the switch to geeks was people using atf2/proxies to ban evade on both pug na and mix. and being an admin on both networks you had zero control over the matter. the level of frustration can not be described
consolidating back onto one network. it's difficult when say, a gamesurge user gets banned and then aliases -> uses atf2.org (under a proxy or not) to still utilize the tf2mix pug service.
the switch to geeks was in august...and like i said in my previous post pug na was extremely active (I.E multiple pugs at once) once summer is over pugs slowed down in pug na its pretty typical. the main concern also is being able to admin effectively on one network not whether or not other games like cs, quake etc are on another network.
cinq and jodd can shed some light on the admin issue within multiple networks, restrictions/bans were constantly evaded it was crucial to make the switch
@emkay you just need to have a set price range for yourself then its pretty easy to find the best chair. usually $100-$200 is good for something that will last for a few years. just make sure to read some reviews before hand, i've taken the chance of just buying straight up from amazon but it is definitely better to try a chair in person. depends on the brand too
another thing to take note of, some players just dont like pugs in general. they just like scrims/matches or dm/mge
If this guy would have pulled out a gun and accidentally shot a little kid instead of the police, you and others in the media would be the first people to point that same finger at the police and say "Why did they wait so long to get him in cuffs?".
you keep going on and on with all these asinine "what if" scenarios, there is no what if when a man is dead. thanks for proving my point of being completely thick headed. also what facts are you looking at? you have no concrete argument you're just long winded and talking out of your ass. stop droning on about the media my post was directed completely towards your thoughts and thats it.
the network switch is not the issue, people that pug know where to go. the switch to geeks was months and months ago and when pug na was active it was on geeks.irc
a lot of players in house now, invite pugs are active again. also most players that were active in pug na just play mix now thats all
spacecadet your name rings true every single thought you put into this is hurting my brain please stop being such an idiot. can you even comprehend the thought of killing another human being? you keep trying to create all these stupid scenarios and false notions when in reality the person is dead. 4 cops with zero injuries that had no problem taking him down and now hes dead. good luck living with that on your conscious.
i seriously doubt your belief system would be the same if this happened to someone close to you like a family member. police brutality is real stop being so god damn naive, you're the type of person that thinks everyone else is wrong until something awful happens to you. please wake up
MOOSE_Best: dabes
