i was never into longboarding at all but i've owned a ton of decks over the years and bombed plenty of steep ass hills with them. i used to ride zero, element, flip, baker, foundation, 5 boro etc. foundation and zero were definitely two of my favorites. still have an original nosebleed deck and my corey duffel thats life board, oh and the cheech and chong flip of course, the only 3 i kept. others broken and long gone

People that hate on longboarding because it isn't short boarding or vice versa don't know shit about what it means to be a skateboarder of any sort.
eh no one is actually hating , people just like to bust balls about it. as long as he enjoys it thats what matters, but the adrenaline rush you get from landing tricks and the feel is just much more rewarding, but if you wanna cruise around then by all means
