From the little I've seen, it looked very similar to quake. That's not a bad thing, but if I wanted to play quake, I'd play quake. Although If it had a big community I'd play it.

I got really bored today and clipped a bunch of demos from like 5 years ago. Most of the clips were already used in the other youtube vids on my channel, but I thought I might as well compile some of them into one vid. I still actually have like 20~ min of footage, so maybe I'll make another video if I get really bored again some day.

search /r/edmproduction and /r/makinghiphop, they'll have mostly drum machines samples and edm styled drums, but they also have real drums if you search hard enough.

also chopping up any clean drum sounds in a song, or finding drum fills/loops to chop up as well.

also.. when you say your kick/snare lack the punchto cut through the mix, how are you panning and EQing the mix? Im not pro with mixing at all, but a combination of panning/compression/aggressive EQing (using a frequency chart to find the right frequencies to aggressively cut depending on the key of the song) along with tuning the drums can work wonders. But you could easily know better than I do.

-Although they are one of the most successful soldier/medic combos in history, shade and lansky absolutely hate each other. If you check shades friends list he doesnt even have lansky added. Never has. Part of the reason we haven't had videos of shade molesting lansky the last couple lans is because lanskys parents actually got involved to make sure shade would stop.

-Most invite LAN players know that ma3la and cozen are gay. Nothing wrong with that of course. I also don't feel bad posting about it because they never seemed to try hiding it at LANs or on mumble. Anyway, after struggling with the long distance relationship things ended and they couldn't really recover. This is why cozen is no longer plays for ascent.

-I feel awful outing alfa here, but i honestly feel like this might help others in the community better understand him, and give him a little more slack. He was clinically diagnosed with aspergers, and on the autism spectrum. He's a genuinely nice kid and i always feel awful when people shit on him without realizing that he can't really help it.

-speaking of mygamingedge, before CB started it DaZeD and caseyfoster actually approached me to lead a TF2 division for netcode (a big CS site for those that dont know) I actually got yz50/tyrone/numlocked a few other people but when CB told me he wanted to start his own site i ditched netcode. But being the obnoxious idiot that I am, i used my admin on the netcode forums to edit every dazed post with alien dick, or talking about sucking a big alien dick....and I may or may not have edited one of his posts to make it seem like he wished his dad had an alien dick.

-on froyo, I didn't really have a problem with ruwin but a few players did and basically forced ME to cut him. I made the most logical decision and proceeded to cut him on april fools day. I did it on mumble while my pussy teammates pretended to be afk and ruwin asked me multiple times if it was a prank.

-one time blaze lost his passport at ESEA LAN. After 30-40 minutes of searching he realized it was in his LEFT
pocket. He usually keeps it in his RIGHT pocket guys!

-after having the worst LAN performance of all time, blaze almost succumbed to the depths of IM forever until I convinced him to make a lineup that became br0.

-after i46 clockwork was very discouraged and lost faith in the LG lineup. He ended up quitting and me and yz50 casually asked him if he wanted to join br0. He said "sure" not knowing that br0 was a collection of the worst teammates (including myself) to compete at the top of invite, half of which being degenerate drug/alcohol abusers that never played sober (not an exaggeration), and blaze.

-When my Pandemic lineup (reptile/oplaid etc) left pandemic for complexity, the owner of pandemic offered us like $1k to stay on the condition that we cut oplaid because he thought we joined coL because pandemic could no longer pay oplaids writing salary.
