Yeah, don't be the creeper who goes around hugging sad girls, but make sure you're waiting in the wings.

Yeah will try and love that up soon.
What's wrong with the dm servers, and where did our volunteer admins go? They are who you should be talking to. I will help you find them, but hopefully this sorts itself out on this thread.
I'd play on that dm server more, but it's always full.
Help me help you.
Yyyyaaaaoooooo!!!!
I'm pleased to announce eXtv will be covered ESEA LAN Season 12.
http://www.twitch.tv/eXtvESports
What I'm not pleased to announce is that it will be off-site.
We approached ESEA and put forward a plan in which myself and CBear would fly out to the LAN and cast all weekend. We'd be compensated for our travel, and have a hotel room to share. How romantic.
Production would have been run on-site by Mikal. He is local so wouldn't have to travel but we'd be asking him to work 12 hours on Saturday and a few on sunday. I asked for him to be compensated for his time.
The chemistry of myself and CBear casting at the same table for 12 hours would have been mind blowing. Unfortunately, ESEA rejected our offer. The cost of running the event at their new location had bulged past eXpectations.
What we offered them was a smaller budget than our contracted rate for the previous LAN. Apparently nothing was budgeted for ensuring a top level broadcast of their own event.
After 2 seasons of ESEA working together with eXtv, we're back to the land of ESEA putting the weight of broadcasting their crowning moment onto the community's shoulder.
Thankfully eXtv doesn't have to bear this weight alone. C what I did there?
I will be playing the host all weekend and filling awkward silences, but I will be letting my co-hosts do most of the casting. DJC, Lange, Seanbud, and the aforementioned CBear have already pledged their support. I haven't talked to Sigma yet. Sup?
Due to the fact that this cast isn't being done in association with ESEA or their sponsoring companies, the tone of the cast might be a little different than in season's past. If there are any problems with the LAN's STVs and our ability to watch them, eXtv will be voicing it's displeasure.
That said, we will be doing our best to make it a fun time, hopefully with some give aways, and definitely plenty of stream interaction during the breaks! @eXtelevision + #TF2LAN
Really looking forward towards this event, and seeing these four teams compete.
eXtv will be attempting to get as much pre-coverage for this event as possible. If anyone would like to shoot a Vlog/Interview, or write an article for us, gimme a holler. eXtine@eXtelevision.com - Posting it on Teamfortress.tv is great too. Go big, do work.
I hope that Chess Club (http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/1658-help-get-chess-club-to-lan) + Swhales (http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/1724-spacewhales-need-a-little-help/1) can get there. It'll be a great eXperience for the Chess Club team regardless of their results, but I hope they can pull off some upsets.
Cheers.
I went to a gay bar last year for a Sunday brunch, to watch football and enjoy some bottomless mimosas.
The football was a lie, but the mimosas were delicious.
Passed the file/link along. Would like to get in touch with Seven bout this since it is her work, also, give me a holler wisebrah. Could make an awesome SFM for it.
eXtine@eXtelevision.com
I could get my sound guy to try and clean up the audio, anyone wanna make a video?
^ We'd love to help any team publicize such a mentor/fundraising event. eXtv is here for the community to utilize as a tool and make cool shit happen.
Swhales + Chess club are welcome to send me vids to post with tutorial content, ChipIn links, and as much shoutouts/schmoozing as you want.
We'll be rolling out some announcements about our LAN coverage plans, and working with the rest of the community to make it dabes.
Do it up Cy! If you want a YouTube home for em, I'd love to host the vids.
Map 2 will be here once it's done uploading.
