Though, I would recommend testing dx9 as well, for yourself. dx9 takes better advantage of your hardware and can result in more frames with modern configs like mine. However, if it is just visual preference, then I guess dx8 is fine. Also I have a favor to ask of you, if I may. Could you individually benchmark each launch option I suggest? Maybe then we can find the culprit which is slowing everything down.

Specs: gtx 1060, i5 6600k oc to 4.4ghz, 144hz benq monitor. I have decent cooling as well!

EquaLThe accel for windows 8 and 10 is this and to my knowledge the driver cant do that. Something similar that you can test would be this but its not great
So does the driver not work as well on windows 8-10 as it did for windows 7?
