#10 Attention writey people in TF2 General Discussion

"For anything to really happen with cadred it would require the community to get on board as well as the writers really."

People say this whenever they look over at the moneymen giving love to other games but I promise it doesn't work. It amounts to sucking cock; you would be looked down upon and discarded cheaply. The hubs for TF2 are here and vtf2 and etf2l, or whatever, and the scene will either grow out from those or it won't, but you can't fake it. Personally I think things are looking healthy, and the money will come in when the product earns it.

This one is like a month old. I give up on them. Shame, really nice mouse otherwise.

djc, yeah, I was surveying opinion. Ruled out everything except design fault or weird software interaction, and this thread lends weight to design fault. Cheers.

#1 logitech g400 problem? in Hardware

Has anyone noticed an issue with these where it seems to disconnect the usb for a few seconds? I’m on my second g400 on two different computers, it’s almost a pattern.

#108 ESEA-Orang-eXplosion in TF2 General Discussion

Solution is abstract and costs money, but relatively easy. Jeff doesn't get paid because TF2 is essentially unwatchable. It's like poker before holecard cams, accessible only to cognoscenti. Yet everyone agrees it's the funnest game ever. The solution is bridging that gap. Currently, casts are carried by the energy of a few people, but they'll get real lives and be replaced by a few others. There is no direction there, there is no 'good for the community'. You tell Valve that you're hiring someone to write a spectator client and ask for their plans in that regard. You make something people can watch and advertisers can buy that doesn't rely directly on your own energy. I know nothing about LoL but Twitch numbers alone tell me that plenty of people's fulltime jobs are supported.

Or stay with the drama and monkey power hierarchies.

#1 Mix group looking for mentors in Mentoring

Hi. I run a mix group for new 6v6 players in Europe. It's going well, but I noticed that everyone improved the most when we had a higher division player making the calls; he was effectively mentoring us (props to Peign). We play every day at 7pm UK except Friday and Saturday so we could always use extra help.

I'm asking here because I've played in the NA Newbie Mixes and they were brilliant. It seems like mentoring is more part of the culture over there (one time I had PYYYOUR as my pocket. What?!). So if anyone doesn't mind coping with transatlantic ping, etf2l rules, newbish play and weird accents, add me: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197995862966
