dashnerAs well, paying is not enough to be readied up, make sure your STEAM ID is registered to your CEVO account.
does it even work anymore since the steam id format change
fuck the tf2 tournament (gonna be awesome though - huge ups to everybody involved)
lft for case race
As the player that didn't get to play in said match, this is dumb. CEVO is pretty forgiving with scheduling so it probably could have been pushed to the next week. Additionally, because of how cevo does scheduling, if my team had taken the ffl instead of playing, the other team would have had to replay the match later anyways. On the other hand, I think we would have ended up as the 4th seed regardless of the outcome of that match so it doesn't really matter and I probably would've taken the ffw as well if it had been in ESEA since they're less forgiving.
tl;dr probably could've rescheduled, but who cares. in CEvo if you feel like they just want an easy win give them a ffw instead of playing with 5 so they have to play anyways

xlr8Im still confused about the ticket pricing, the thread says its 20 per person, but the ticket vendor says its 15 for spectator, and 50 for an individual. If someone could clear this up, that'd be great.
The part of the thread that says $20 is talking about the tournament buy in, but I believe it was changed to $10 and Nick just missed editing that part of the post. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.
It is $50 to attend the LAN as a player, or $15 as a spectator. The tournament buy in is completely separate from and in addition to this.
$360k AUD...that's like what, 320k USD?
good luck
when are open playoffs
I always enjoyed sprinting more than distance track and cross country. I loved the 200m because I was too much of a pussy for the 400m
I agree with most of the complaints above. For the most part, I found it inferior to playing in ESEA.
Air_freakinall I have to say is sunshine is the only map I've played where we consistently run out of time before 5 rounds in scrims and it never felt slow/boring. Everytime we run out of time we're like "that was 30 minutes!??!"sunshine is also one of the lowest dpm maps ive ever seen. consistently there are entire teams below 300, which never happens on other maps.
Compared to metalworks where it feels like 30 minutes only 10 minutes in
any map that ends because of timer before 5 roundsi n scrims is slow
long rounds do not inherently mean slow scrims, we've just had a lot of back and forth rounds
but this could definitely be influenced by the fact that I've played no more than 9 scrims on sunshine and they all seemed to be against teams closer in skill than we frequently find
ChameleoNthe same 2 teams still dominating the scene?
a challenger in exertus/elevate has emerged
they've more than held their own online so far and hopefully will prove themselves at LAN this go round
