Well we'll see if the ToTH hat gets added. If it does, there may be hope.
But if it doesn't, I don't see a purely competitive item being popular enough to get added.

thrasherGeknaiirWhen is the last day I can purchase a gxl ticket?
I want to go but I don't know if I'm going to be busy during that time.
You can buy them until they sell out. In previous years we would get maybe ~30 players from the comp tf2 scene and sometimes there would still be a few seats left and tickets would be sold at the door. I don't know how many people the GXL is going to hold this time (350, maybe more?) but considering we already have around 100 pre paid players just a couple weeks after registration opened, and there's still 6 months to go... I would play it safe and get a ticket ASAP.
Nick said if it looks like there's a chance of it selling out he would let us know well before hand. So as long as you pay attention to this/the official announcement thread, you should be safe.
But they also do refunds up until 2 weeks before the event, so if you have the money now there is no harm in buying now.
tranchemusicI think I have Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics on my laptop, runs TF2 with no problems
Means nothing without res and fps
willing to donate manpower to help organize draft tournament for friday
Your parents are silly.
Source engine games are mostly CPU intensive, especially if you lower settings
I got a 15 inch laptop and regret it. I almost never take it to class. Its too big to use comfortably on many of the desks and it is too heavy since I also have to carry notebooks and textbooks. Battery life is also not as much as desired. Wish I would've gone with a 12-13 inch one without an optical drive and no dedicated GPU.
Highly recommend bringing your desktop.
nyaeh, i think all the pro players contributed to the community a lot regardless of how they do in their games. they are the ones that comes up with new metas and how the game works. They are the samples valve would use to try to base on for balancing the weapons to create a fair gameplay experience.
good joke
valve balances around pubbers
Don't get your panties in a bunch I was just answering his question

i52 in august, gxl in October, and an esea lan around that time as as well(Sept/Oct?). I feel like all three won't happen, so it will come down to whether the top teams want to build a good NA lan or go to Europe again.
SuperNovaFoxit would be teams of 4's, 6's, and 9's
LeRayonVertmge would be cool too
DuckyAdd bball/ultiduo to the mix aswell
let's not try to do this for every format when we've never done/maintained it for one format
visitnigNot studying harder in high school and essentially wasted 2 years of college at a community college, but on the bright side, I did give my liver probably 5 more years of life span after witnessing how much cheap alcohol my friends put in their system
the goal is to die of liver failure before i can pay off my student loans
