WhiskerfuzeIf anyone genuinely lost their steam account because of my mistake, please write it here. Very afraid that I may have fucked some people over. I will gladly help with recovering any accounts lost. This is fucking me up.there are scam/phishing threads fairly often around here, and most competitive players in general tend to be aware of it so I wouldn't let it bother you too much; I would imagine (/hope) most people didn't go out of their way to try and sign in to a site that's already being called out as suspicious. if they did then I mean......

mistakes happen, especially if you're not familiar with these scams/phishing attempts

Thank you.

cantidon't do it

i got the same thing from an old steam friend a couple months ago and used the site and steam guard (very stupid, most likely didn't notice the faked steamcornmunity URL), guy who got into my friend's account ended up hijacking mine to spread the same message to my entire friends list. thankfully nothing happened aside from my friends list getting fucked up from people deleting/blocking me

site was different at the time (some kind of misspelling of GosuGamers?) but it's still the same scam. stay away and delete them for the time being until they can contact you outside of steam to make sure it's all safe

EDIT: also it's a very very bad idea to include the actual link in your OP, that needs to be deleted ASAP

Have done so, thats my bad. Just created this account to ask this question, wasn't trying to phish anyone, but I understand the mistake I made.

Terribly sorry.

PontYour first and only post is about a potential phishing link and you put that link in the post? Definitely don't click on that. I would recommend changing your passwords on steam cause you probably just got phished. Also if this is your first post you're probably trying to phish people on here so this thread probably needs to be deleted.

It also takes a .5 second google search to see that the proper url for hltv is a .org not some weird .com/.com thing

Sorry, I did make a google search. And yes, youre right, it could be. Should've considered that. I am not trying to phish anyone.

I am aware of hltv's actual url. Was wondering what this could be. Will remove the link, that is my bad. Incredibly stupid, have changed my password, thank you.

Terribly sorry about posting to an unrelated forum, but HLTV wouldnt let me post an original thread, since I haven't been active on there recently.

Link removed due to potential phishing.

Ive been asked by a steam friend to vote for "his team" on a site.

He says its to get into a tourney. He offered me keys to vote, which makes me suspicious.

Anyone know whether this is an actual thing or not?
Didn't find any hltv coverage on this. Strange, considering it allegedly being an hltv tourney..?

EDIT: if you have been unlucky enough to open the links, please reset your steam password. This was a huge oversight on my part.
