im staying 4 nights for a 3 person room in the ibis budget for £323 and it still has places, there may also be good options with airbnb or similar but i havent checked that thoroughly. birmingham also has good trains and the nec's near birmingham international so you could stay a little bit further out where the hotels are cheaper and use taxis if you come back late
KingCarlban the dh its glitched. u never miss with it

SnackThe plan currently is to try and reschedule as many of my matches as possible so they don't coincide with everybody else's matches, meaning I'll be available to admin about if needs be. However I do have a few friends helping me out with admin stuff as well in case that's not possible.
Not that i doubt you much but this sounds like it could go wrong quite easily. Trying to juggle a bunch of teams you're not familiar with, letting each team know their matches and especially handling possibly reschedules is a lot harder than you might think. I've only admined one cup, the new map cup, and was in charge of 4 teams and it was harder to juggle stuff than I thought (though I was also setting up servers). I'd recommend getting a bunch of admins who will be on at the right time and give them a couple groups to be responsible for so there isn't confusion between you all and you're not trying to record and schedule 30 matches at once
DanceNumberI've noticed a surprisingly small amount of Quake players actually playing this beta. It's been pretty easy to win almost every FFA/TDM match. Hoping some kind of elo system is involved with the final release.
same, but i think games got a bit harder this weekend, probably because it opened up more. there's normally 2+ other people in the match who know to not take fights with your starting weapon and rotate powerups etc

last time we waited this long for a major update they killed pubs
i had the same issue, turned out to be a bug with swing (java's UI manager). quanticc figured out a workaround which might work for you https://github.com/quanticc/lawena-recording-tool/issues/96
Starry_NebulaeI genuinely wondering if this weapon mini crits jumping soldiers that didn't take any knockback of any kind besides jumping by themselves (i havent seen this weapon in ages so sorry if i don't know this)
I've played some aids mge in my time and it does. It's crazily good at knocking back jumping soldiers which in my opinion is the main problem with it in 6s. Everything about it on pyro is only annoying really because of airblast.

thanks for reminding me of this u made my day 80% better
nitealso you guys who are suggesting changes should probably read what the weapon actually does, because both of you have listed attributes that the weapon already has like 4 shells in clip or only minicritting people who are knocked airborne by an enemy
pretty sure sops was listing completely new stats. his are fine, if a bit underpowered potentially, it's kinda middle ground between the flare guns range and the shotgun's dps. might be too good at denying jumpers though depending on the actual accuracy bonus
why would they remove a bunch of unlocks that appeal to the casual fanbase? if they removed the weapons that aren't used in 6s i guarantee even more players would leave than those who got alienated by casual. the correct way to do it is to balance weapons around high level 6s in such a way that they don't completely break pubs.
