who's fighting over hosting it? did you read anything? wolf is one of the few people in eu willing/able to organise a lan atm, and none of the others are in tftv.

a year on im STILL hearing hate over forming a new org vs just staying with tftv, when personal issues with tftv staff and the overhead of having to get everything okayed would have made a lot of the stuff essentials has done impossible

not true. multiplay being taken over by game seems to have slowed things down a bunch too

this is some late-night ranting in a twitch chat about stuff that could be done better not a fucking uprising

#1 you cant just flick a switch and "optimise." if there were easy optimisations to make, theyve have been done. anything to fix the longstanding problems the game has likely requires a lot of rewriting or even an engine rewrite
#2 class limits arent a necessity, and they're arguably a lazy fix (but basically the best option by this point i'd agree)
#3 god yes i hate that sound constantly in mm
#4 the damage has been done tbh. they could bring back quickplay but community servers will take years to recover
#5 see, i dont give a shit about this. all i'd want is the ability to change teams when i can, but honestly if i could never play against friends in a pub that doesnt sound fun to me.
#6 yep. though it requires a little weapon balancing
#7 would be nice but meh, people who are just playing for drops instead of playing a gamemode they enjoy doesnt seem healthy long-term.

i mean meet your match did ruin pubs for a lot of people and made it pretty hard work just to chill in them with friends. but that whole comp vs pubber hate thing seems to have died out and you dont see nearly as many people wishing the other half would die off nowadays

id be more interested in the opinions of the people that mm is meant to target tbh, cause it isnt really existing comp players
