HuckOk so I've never traded before except when buying shit with my saved up ref. Are these people like giving away candy along with their trade or something?
Sweets aka sweeteners aka other shitty stuff I threw into the trade to make you say yes
I think what you're proposing is a lot easier said than done.
If someone calls 911, says in a serious voice "I am near a school, I just saw a shooter with what looked like automatic weapons, he went into X building," and then hangs up, do you think the person taking the call will say "Hm this could be a hoax, we should track this caller" before they dispatch a response?
RayinerI'm new to trading in general, but what is so special about signed weapons? Does it make you feel more special?
People like to insert themselves into the lives of people who they feel are celebrities. Signed weapons is this community's equivalent to autographs. By having this tiny form of pseudo-interaction with someone who they idolize, I guess they can feel special or more important themselves.
Hacking group "Lizard Squad" bring down Twitch today as part of their ongoing DDoSing efforts. Pretty unreal. Very strange seeing an empty sidebar.

Over the past 4 days or so, they have brought down Xbox Live, BNet, PSN.. the list goes on.
smoboI agree with Getawhale. Twitch has ridiculous bandwidth use, and with adblock being so common their main revenue is subscribers, and there's not much incentive for the average user to subscribe to a channel. Things are probably not going super well for them.
I wouldn't necessarily say they're doing poorly, although it's possible they are struggling to be profitable. Considering that MLG (which I understand is a TOTALLY different company, but still) was still not profitable after 12 years of existence, according to a recent article, it seems unlikely that Twitch had tons of cash sitting in the bank.
x3Feel like we're doomed either way.
It's not like twitch was not making enough money already
Fuck dat buy
Twitch's financials are strangely hard/impossible to find, but I doubt they were rolling in it. If they had immensely deep pockets, I doubt they'd be bought out - they'd just use their own money to solve their scaling/capacity/whatever problems.
Can't wait for people to learn more about Amazon as a business because it's obvious nobody knows what to think yet.
Twitch is growing faster than they can handle.. guess who does infrastructure and content delivery and logistics better than almost anyone?
This is like your paper route being bought by UPS. This is good.

HKWill this be uploaded to the youtube channel? I couldn't find it in the VOD
I watched it earlier so it certainly is there. It's in the i52 interview special.
Thumbs down to drunk idiots who fuck with live events
