defydo you think it's gonna be the same 4 teams next lan? or possibly a different 4th seed?

http://strawpoll.me/2160503

I think this is the million dollar question. I've also been asking around to see what people think. Very weird feeling having all the top teams sticking around with very few changes or dead teams.

#8 dorm room internet in TF2 General Discussion
smoboeven if you don't get much bandwidth, if you're wired in the connection should be really good

I would disagree with this.. I went to college at Niagara and every room was "wired". Problem was the bandwidth was spread way too thin for each user, and long story short Steam/PC gaming/XBL was absolutely a no-go in residence unless it was a holiday and people were gone. It was ridiculous.

Certainly I'm sure a lot of residences have okay enough internet, but not all. Contact people at the school who have experienced it, if possible.

666bulletsIn our version of the 4v4 we have forbidden the use of the Medic and Engineer classes

Nailed it. Perfect rule.

Hope this all goes well! Glad to see large events like this internationally.

The VESA bracket so you can mount it on the back of your monitor is a pretty cool idea. These look cool to me as a LAN/portable desktop thing. Wondering about the shortcomings/corner cuts though.

If you missed the show, these will be on my YouTube channel. First episode VOD is at http://youtu.be/NiswPBUL8KI and I won't plug that any more than this one time.

Also here's basically the best call of the night, with caller Mohammed Nadir: http://www.twitch.tv/getawhale/c/4685014

No idea how anyone could downfrag this

MR_SLINWouldn't it be easier to gather questions by looking at Twitch chat?

Yes that is easy.. there weren't a lot of those that I could see either though. Again this is largely just seeing how the community responds to this - I like the toll-free number, it makes it very much like radio, which is the industry I work in. I think folks like being able to call in, get their voice on stream, be a real part of the show. Also when they call, due to the audio wizardry, they can actually hear both me and the guest in Mumble answering their question. Which I think is cool.

I think partly not everyone in chat necessarily knew who slardel is, which obviously makes it hard to know what to call about.

I am continually looking to find the ultimate format for this. If folks have suggestions, keep em comin - here, as a Twitch message, or email me.

Thanks to folks that watched!

AloSecI'd like to request sildeezy as a guest, and then for sildeezy to interview someone else on your stream while you interview sildeezy.

Thank you.

He hasn't been online as much lately but I'm sure I'll have him on at some point

etherWhy don't you just get people to skype in?

Main reason is not everybody has a Skype account, not everybody has Mumble. People probably wouldn't want to go download and set up Skype just to call in with a question. Most people have a cell phone or landline phone they can quickly grab, though.

Telephone also doesn't have bandwidth or connection issues like some people can with Skype!

Plus it's just fun as hell!
