That's crazy.. when I used to attend Newbie Mixes a couple years ago, this would have seemed crazy at the time. And Mixes were still super popular back then! I'd chalk this up to the people who run it these days. They're the unsung heroes! Keep droppin names imo

I know many people personally who went to Insomnia knowing almost nobody and who had a blast, met dozens of people, and it was overall awesome. Unless you have bad social anxiety or whatnot, which is a totally valid concern, I'd recommend folks just attend if you can afford it and get the time off. It is ALWAYS a fantastic time, regardless of circumstances.
