conservatively, any list is going to include yomps and habib. i think everyone can agree on that. medic doesn't matter much, but nursey has the most dm highlights. good so far.
that leaves a scout, pocket and roamer. i think b4nny belongs in either of the first two. to build the strongest team you'd probably want him on pocket so you could fit a scout in -- slemnish? corsa? but there's an argument for b4nny on scout and paddie on pocket.
roamer is interesting because i'd take blaze but it depends how you look at dm. a lot of what makes him the most valuable roamer in na is more intangible.
also i put some actual thought into this so please do not downfrag without at least commenting to call me retarded first thank you.

botmodenot using "trickle down" balancing punishes people who spend more time with the game in an effort to cater to players who won't notice or care that the game is balanced for them
it's not that they won't notice, it's that they can't notice. always seemed pretty obvious that balancing around pubs is dumb. the skill level isn't balanced, because anyone can join. so even if all the weapons are equally good, some people are going to stomp others, and you'll never be able to get real weapon balancing info.
balancing around esea invite, where the skill level is (somewhat) even, makes sense.
