How is it a tf2 ripoff? It has payload and a class that has a heal beam, but from what ive seen the actual gameplay is nothing like tf2. It's like calling cod a counter strike ripoff because they both have guns and a knife.
classes that are a lot like tf2's and fill similar roles + very similar objective based gameplay with similar (read: the same) objectives.

honestly the best thing valve could do for mm is make it copy the existing 6's class limits
I think Valve would like to see comp have no whitelist but thankfully they understand that some weapons need to be changed for that to happen, The only thing I would be worried about whitelisting if valve is serious about making this game competitive and balancing weapons are ones that are bad concepts like the short circuit.
Also even if MM doesn't have class limits I think we should try to maintain them as no one wants to watch the 4 demo/2 med or 3 demo/3 med spam war that no one wins and takes for ever
