Looked at the update, why are they removing badlands and granary from comp and adding ctf and pl?

aslIMO if rulesets were to be standardised it'd be from both sides finding a satisfactory middle ground. I don't see either side backing down and conforming to the other ruleset. Discussion's been had plenty of times before.
What if they did 30 mins with first to five instead of win by five?

Quebec has it's own flag, as do Wales, England, and Scotland, as do the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, as do the Faroe Islands and a number of other non-nations have flags. Since different provence/regions of other nations get flags, perhaps states could as well?
