no lie but medding for hrg would be the most boring thing in the world. only fun part of med is calling and deciding for your team. having your pocket/demo call all of your pushes and tell you where to go would put me to sleep. i understand some people feel differently but i know quite a few meds who wouldn't enjoy playing with hrg.

the amount of hypocrisy in this thread is amazing. this really is the worst thread on tf.tv. let people live the way they want. i don't care if someone is trans, fat, gay, whatever. as long as they don't get in my face about it they can be however they want. smaka is making a good point with his post, i don't expect everybody to be accepting of gay/trans people but as long as they are respectful with their beliefs and don't go all westboro baptist then i respect their opinions.

i will also agree with you on the fact that everyone wants to win, not only is it generally more fun, but you fucking win! in the i40 video i believe darn was saying "yes i do want to win, but does it really matter as long as there is a good show?"
although it is better than videos and such on the internet (i admit), it's hard to know someone just by spending a (drunk) weekend with them as well, the only people that could really comment on his personality would be his former teammates or darn himself
i will also note that zebbosai cookye bybben and mirelin were apparantly unhappy on darn's team, hence leaving to form broder, and kaidus was unhappy so he later cut darn...
so really does aura's argument actually have a basis now that i think about it?

botmodein a game that small at the time i don't think darn would be thinking about pr, darn also quit because he didn't want to play without 130 fov yes, but he (or rake) later said that the game was only fun on that fov or something along those lines, and given darn's personality...yeah that makes sense..
darn cared just as much about winning as anyone. did you ever actually talk with him? hes the one that slammed his fist and caused his computer to turn off at i46 because he was angry at losing. its funny that you have this picture drawn out of what he is like just from his public persona. most people act quite a lot differently than what they show on public forums or in interviews.

you're retarded dude. of course he's going to say in an interview that he wants to put on a good show. have you ever heard of PR? what do you expect him to say? there is a reason i said don't let anybody tell you differently, because people will say whatever they can in front of the camera to make themselves seem humble. if people didn't care about winning then there wouldn't be any incentive to play your best. losing sucks, nobody wants to lose. this is the basic aspect of all competition. that's why winning feels so good.
also if you don't remember darn quit tf2 because he wasn't allowed to use 120fov. he wanted to use 120fov because it gave him a better chance at winning. so don't act like darn was different from anyone else.

Do you actually believe HRG are there just to put on a good show to the viewers? Why do you think our matches vs HRG on lan were so slow and boring. As much as we want the matches to be entertaining for the viewers winning comes first. HRG wanted to win, just as epsilon/tcm/iM do. Don't let anybody tell you differently. It would be a joke of a game if people cared more about putting on a good show than winning.
