Weird input lag

Q/A Help
Sometimes when I hit a key, it'll keep walking that direction. When I hit my spacebar, I'll jump anywhere from instantly to five seconds later. I've tried plugging in multiple keyboards, installing a null-movement script, and factory resetting this PC. I took it to Best Buy and they just said it could be the RAM, but I don't have the money to deal with that. Is there anything else that can be done?
