Usually I would say buy headphones + a Modmic but considering how anything more than earbuds will eat up a considerable amount of that budget, I'd go with the Zalman one.
However, http://www.modmic.com/collections/frontpage/products/modmic is $33 and http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD201-Lightweight-Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B0007XJSQC is $25. I have these headphones and they're actually pretty great for the price, and I wear them for hours. If you want to get something better than those, though, then you will probably need to go with the Zalman clipon mic.
If you already have a working mic, then maybe you could use that.
eubuntu was good until it got that dumb update which i think mightve been unity, it went from really lightweight to really slow
Xubuntu uses the Xfce UI instead of Unity. Considering I was able to install it on a computer that was having problems installing Windows 7, I would say it's pretty lightweight.
I like Xubuntu, and you just said you hate Ubuntu. That could mean you hate Unity to you hate everything about it, so...
TwitchTVJohneIf you got a good crt you MIGHT be able to do 120 hz at like 1024x768, but its probably like 120hz only @ 800x600 or maybe even 640x480, honestly just stick with a 60 hz, 120hz doesnt make as much of a difference as people make it seem
Yeah, I said the same thing. Then I tried one. Then I bought one immediately afterwards. It's night and day. It WILL make your tracking better.
And you said it didn't make a difference before you tried one... and then you tried one and said it didn't make a difference, and it just made using non-120Hz monitors annoying. what happen
Is this replacing the comp TF2 team?
If so, then see my signature.
If not, then can you explain to me the purpose of this?
Edit: nvm
aimeEUPHHY MADE THESE CHANNELS, god i love you idiots, I quit the game and still get blamed for dumb shit, i feel so blessedIf you quit why are you still here?
But the real question was were the channels linked?
why was Jazzy still on natf2 forever
So I currently have the MX518, which I recently learned has angle snapping, which may have been affecting my aim. This apparently cannot be changed. If I do get a new mouse, I would like it to have at least 2 side buttons as my PTT button is mouse4 and my mouse5 is bound to change my class to heavy in TF2. From what I understand, the WMO is the absolute best mouse right now, but I want more buttons than it has. Is the Intellimouse Explorer the same as the WMO but with more buttons? Also, how comfortable is it (I know this is subjective), and is it possible to rebind the side buttons?
Are there any other mice that are like the WMO/IME? I've held a Deathadder and it fit my hand well, but I don't like the scroll wheel, not to mention I don't even know how it compares.
toothThe modmic is waaay better than the zalman clip on mic(granted it costs a lot more, but 30 bucks isn't exactly a lot of money) so if you're on the fence for the modmic, just get it and wait. Desktop mics can be fine for some people, but they pick up more background noise than something close to your face like a headset mic or the modmic.
Here's a comparison of the zalman vs the modmic in case you were wondering(I don't have a desktop mic to complete the trio of normal candidates).

He can get the Zalman mic as a temporary/backup one while he waits for a Modmic.
If you already have a working mic, then I would buy the Modmic and wait.
foster are u quitting tf2 again
rkhookyrkHmmm, the ESEA site is supposed to hide that for 6 hours... oh well, cat's out of the bag now.It doesn't show it on the transaction page until after 6 hours. People just like to constantly refresh team pages and look for changes after something happens.
Right, but I was under the impression it wouldn't show there, either - or at least, that's what I remember being told when they created this delay, lol. Oh well, just another quirk for the ESEA engineers to fix with the site re-launch.
Oh... yeah... by the way, we're working on a new site layout :)
info_leaked
some may speculate that it could be related to Lange leaving LASER BEAMS earlier in the day.
some may speculate
Trying to start rumors Fog?

GgglygyI also was getting frustrated more often than I was having fun, and the rest of the team made it quite clear that they blamed myself and seanbud for our losses.

anjirocoolhookynope, it's team dramaOOVOOV#167maybe it's dialup. Yes, that still exists.
ey brah we live in the 21st century
Or maybe he thinks he won't have time to play anymore. There are really too many possible reasons (with the pastebin being the least possible).

well no need to speculate now.
I assume he's going to focus on casting from now on. I really don't see him playing on a team, at least for the rest of S13.
