I haven't seen someone get called "lowmid at best" in a long time

I don't mean to piss in anyone's cornflakes but Competitive TF2 currently has as much interest as it did in 2009-2010.

What's more interesting is that in 2016 our #1 Twitch personality overlapped "Competitive TF2" in interest and remains steady. This shows that people are playing less and watching more.

We had a shot at being a big beautiful esport but if you look at the chart anyone can see that the ship has sailed.

This is a passion project and the twilight years are upon us – let's make it for us and not for them.

higher res only helps with hitting pixels at long range without a scope – like hitting goose from pit on dust2 with an m4. helpful for games like cs but not so much for tf2.

talent plays a factor however since tf2 is low stakes, when compared to more profitable esports, there isn't as much competition for first place. this means a lot (hesitant to say most) can get there, despite lacking talent, if they tryhard and dedicate more time than anyone else.

double check you are installing them to the right folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\x\

And in that folder you should have the resource/scripts/etc folders of whatever mod you're using
