I have trouble with overheating. When playing tf2 temperatures get into the 90s. I have CoreTemp configured so that tf2 is killed when I hit TjMax (which I think is 95C on the i5) but my computer occasionally still crashes completely without warning.

I have it propped up on books like so

I've tried undoing the bottom panel to blow the dust out but there's only one screw and it seems like it's attached with plastic anyway.

I've put USB fans by the side but they're loud and don't help much afaik.

If it's the SM plugin ([SM] Warning: you will be moved to spectate in 30 seconds if you do not move) then all you need to do is type +right (or +left) in console. It just checks for mouse movement.

* I've played 5 or so newbie mixes, and am doing 5 pugs a week more or less. (!stats ibex_). I also have more hours in pubs than I should. I have average DM but have trouble feeling comfortable during games

* I use EST. I'm usually able to play between 3PM and 10PM

* I am looking specifically for a steel or mid silver team (6s). I'm also looking for a team that isn't ghetto, i.e. won't fall apart, already has dedicated members, scrims regularly (My friends would hopefully be willing to be scrim partners if necessary) and will have a server and use mumble (please nothing else).

* I consider myself involved in the competitive community, I have a lot of friends that play competitive and I regularly visit /r/truetf2 and teamfortress.tv though I don't contribute to the latter much
