He wants medium settings but would be fine with lowest. The motherboard has 1 pci-e x16 slot and the PSU is Codegen 350X.
Hey. My friend wants to upgrade his PC for games like Battlefield 4, Fallout 4, Far Cry 4 at 60 FPS, 1920*1080.
His current:
CPU - Pentium G860
RAM - 8 GB
Mobo- Couldn't figure it out but it's prooobably not unlocked.
PSU - bad
Budget- 200 Euros
Is this possible?

Sorry :(
I kept hearing "Uppermost - Angels" everywhere and wanted to know the songname. Thanks to you, now I do.
This probably has been done but I though I would compare win10 to win8.1 While I'm at this.
Proper cfg this time.
Windows 10
2639 frames 14.492 seconds 182.10 fps ( 5.49 ms/f) 21.980 fps variability
2639 frames 14.299 seconds 184.56 fps ( 5.42 ms/f) 16.347 fps variability
2639 frames 14.099 seconds 187.18 fps ( 5.34 ms/f) 16.515 fps variability
Windows 8.1
2639 frames 14.889 seconds 177.25 fps ( 5.64 ms/f) 20.688 fps variability
2639 frames 14.429 seconds 182.89 fps ( 5.47 ms/f) 15.897 fps variability
2639 frames 14.669 seconds 179.90 fps ( 5.56 ms/f) 15.580 fps variability
So in short: RIP Kappa
Its crazy how well you can see the KnoxXs disciplination
cme(c:) > program files(x86) > steam > steamapps > common > Team Fortress 2 > tf > cfg
I've beet putting autoexec in ...>common>Team Fortress 2>tf>custom>Configuration>cfg since steampipe. Am I doing it wrong?
With Comanglia's stability cfg
2639 frames 15.886 seconds 166.12 fps ( 6.02 ms/f) 7.576 fps variability
2639 frames 16.154 seconds 163.37 fps ( 6.12 ms/f) 12.263 fps variability
2639 frames 15.901 seconds 165.96 fps ( 6.03 ms/f) 11.996 fps variability
With R4ndoms cfg
2639 frames 15.513 seconds 170.12 fps ( 5.88 ms/f) 13.274 fps variability
2639 frames 15.246 seconds 173.09 fps ( 5.78 ms/f) 10.504 fps variability
2639 frames 15.240 seconds 173.17 fps ( 5.77 ms/f) 10.731 fps variability
Nice job!
Edit: Comanglia's potato cfg with mat_viewupscale 1
2639 frames 15.602 seconds 169.14 fps ( 5.91 ms/f) 12.061 fps variability
2639 frames 17.077 seconds 154.53 fps ( 6.47 ms/f) 16.529 fps variability
2639 frames 16.217 seconds 162.73 fps ( 6.15 ms/f) 18.116 fps variability
SetsulSeems like I was right.
Wasn't source engine using only 2 threads common knowledge? It seemed like it when I was building this a year ago.
Edit: What I don't understand is how some people here get 190-200+ fps in that demo. Does the bigger amount of cache really help that much?
Thought I would see how my dual core compares
2639 frames 15.886 seconds 166.12 fps ( 6.02 ms/f) 7.576 fps variability
2639 frames 16.154 seconds 163.37 fps ( 6.12 ms/f) 12.263 fps variability
2639 frames 15.901 seconds 165.96 fps ( 6.03 ms/f) 11.996 fps variability
CPU and overclock: G3258 @ 4.4 GHz
Graphics Card: R9 270x
dxlevel (default is 90): 81
Resolution: 1920x1080
Full-screen or windowed: Full
FPS configs enabled: Comanglia's Max Stability

Additional notes: mat_picmip -1, No hats mod, google chrome running, TF2 freshly opened, Win8.1
It seems the first run after opening TF2 is always the best for me
