#7 the only problem with that is that I feel like my field of view decreases, which in turn makes my sensitivity feel either too fast or too slow. Plus I've grown quite used to the "distorted" images.
RRP-ATI/AMD gpu
Enable gpu scaling from CCC > My digital flat-panels > Properties > select monitor you use for games > Enable GPU scaling
This worked. Thank you ~
I've tried 1024x768 but 720 looks slightly better imo. I've tried changing it to 768 with the same result; the black border.
Ok, so for fps purposes I play at a lower resolution of 1024x720. Yes yes I know that's low, how can you play like that, your game must look terrible, blah blah blah. Nevertheless, I'm used to it, and I've been able to play at this resolution in full screen, with it stretched across the screen (don't know any other way to put it). However, when I started TF2 this morning, there were two black borders on either side of my screen. That's never happened before, and I haven't changed my launch options or anything in any way since switching to my low res.
It might be something stupid simple that I need to do, but I don't know how. Therefore I entreat the TF2 competitive community, comprised of quite a few smart individuals, to "help a bro out".

^disregard old screen name
Yo, my name is moss. I got 400+ hours on solly. I scrimmed with a team for several weeks but that team has now dissolved due to roster issues. I mge/dm often and I'm continually trying to get better and improve my game. I'm chill, I don't raise my voice very often and it takes a lot to get me upset. As for main calling, I can if needed. I'm not the greatest pocket, but I'm generally not out of position, and I'm willing to put the time in to get better.
I want to play cevo since I'm already paid for it. Add me if you want to try me out.
KAMO weird pictures
genuinely disturbed.
santababysearch tf2 restore default settings in google. i think its something like disconnect from cloud in steam. then go into tf2 and disconnect from cloud in there. then delete everything under your tf folder. then restart tf2 and it should restore everything back to default. then connect everything back to cloud.
Did something very close to this and got tf2 back to its default settings. Smooth sailing from here. Thanks for the help, guys.
Tried putting -autoconfig in my launch options as well as moving my cfg folder elsewhere and letting tf2 reload everything. Now when I go into a server the large majority of my keys are unbound. I have an autoexec + an fps config (maxframes) in my custom folder, would this affect anything?
How do I totally reset my cfg folder, like back to default?
