If it comes to that, I'll deshround and use some case fans and ducts. Thanks for the tips

jnkijdmAny comments?yes i really dont like TN panels but you want 360hz dyac so fuck am i gonna do
looks good to me but perhaps a better cooled and better power delivery on the 6700XT could be in order
I feel you on the TN panel, but no IPS has anything close to DYAC (except the pg27aqn, but that's like 500 bucks more which is the cost of a nice 4k monitor anyway). I was also considering the xg2431, but the room gets pretty bright and I didn't think it would cut it.
As far as coolers, I guess I could get a 240mm AIO but from what I have seen the performance difference isn't more than a few degrees, plus my last AIO had the pump die after a few years which kind of put me off water cooling.
Could definitely shell out a bit more for the PSU but I figured a ~50 watt buffer was fine. You're probably right on this one

Any comments?
I know the motherboard is a bit questionable, but it's so cheap that as long as it just supports a stable overclock in TF2/CS I don't really care. The other boards are so much more expensive that I might as well upgrade my CPU instead of bothering to overclock at all.
This thread made me realize I need a new PC. Some of these are basically triple the frames of my 4770k
RoLid rather spend more of my time doing something useful in the long term of my life
RoLanyone wanna queue ow2
That looks good setsul, thanks for the advice. I'll take a closer look at case options.
All memes aside its awful
Like applesauce on porkchops, or mernice chicken
I don't see anyone tossing ham cubes and cheese into their fruit salads
The PC will mostly be used for CS:GO, DOTA 2, and planet coaster @1080p 144hz, but it will also be used to record and edit footage from demos. Performance in game is the priority
We have HDDs and only need a ~120GB SSD for the OS and some games/software. We have a copy of windows. We also would like a case recommendation; form factor doesn't matter
The budget is $700
If it possible to build a PC that can stream @720p 60FPS while meeting the above requirements for $950 that would be nice, but if not, we'll just count out streaming
We do not want to overclock

someone took the time to make this video and post it to my profile

thanks wasnt aware of these, I dont play much
admittedly though Im a bit confused why its literally been like 6 VA servers and nothing else
Every casual game I get put into sits on "parsing game info" for a minute, and when I finally connect to the server its pretty laggy, sometimes to the point where it says I have lost connection. Apparently this has been a problem shared by everyone in the servers
Has anyone else been having this problem or figured out whats going on?
edit: joined an LA server and it was fine, maybe VA only problem?
Twiggycrabfi think the only reaosn id ever use scorch shot is to hard counter cliff heavies on viaduct but det is betetr in every single wayIt's better but it requires more aiming when scorch shot is "fire and forget"
and det doesnt do knockback
basically scorch shot is only better when you are jiggle peeking
make sure its not a text file
who are the "pro gamers" this group "started with"
