#22 Mousepad, help me choose one. in Hardware
JackyLegsIf you got a couple of Goliathus pads, you may know what is the difference with the Omega and Alpha versions, and what does the control has different rather than the speed?

The only difference is the size. Omega: 270mm x 215mm, Standard: 355mm X 254mm, Alpha: 444mm X 355mm

I've got a goliathus speed and really like it (27cm/360). I'm not a fan of slow pads though. I'd say you can't go wrong with any of the ones you're considering. From what I've seen the puretrak is harder to get/more expensive shipping so whether it's worth it is debatable.

Mine occasionally turns to static/wind noise but restarting mumble or just re-plugging it in seems to fix it. Still really happy with it. Would be interested to hear if anyone has experience with the newer models.

I use shaw in Vancouver and get pretty much what #2 said. I can put up a trace when I get home this evening.

#14 Ping in TF2 General Discussion

Vancouver here

I generally get 50-70 to chi and 80-90 to dallas these days, although my last place was worse.

On UBC campus it was a little better as far as I remember.

#13 Dota 2 Binds in TF2 General Discussion
TLRI bind my item slots very similarly to how I bind my Quake weapons. I have 4 slots bound to the bottom keys (z,x,c,v), space, and mouse5. I like to put movement items like blink and force staff on space, feels natural coming from fps. I reserve the number keys for control groups.

What fingers do you use to press zxcv? I feel like they would be awkward to press as i usually have my hand in on either QWER+alt/space or AWER+alt/space.

#7 Dota 2 Binds in TF2 General Discussion
lambdaOK, Sorry, before doing any tinkering around myself, I had assumed binding in Dota 2 was the same as Team Fortress, which was console dependent. I see now you have control of binds from the controls menu. I was a little confused at what you all were getting at, but now I understand. Thanks for the help.

You can bind things in the menu in TF2 as well...

As a side note, I didn't play HoN but I started using the alt+qweasd inventory hotkeys and I like them a lot. Helps to have numbers open for control groups. I switched space in for alt+s which i use for reaction items like blink. Would recommend :)

Bought a mounting arm for my catleap (the shitty stand it comes with is so wobbly it's earned the nickname "perpetual motion machine") but it's gonna have to wait until I move house and disassemble it to install the OC PCB for 120 Hz (whenever that is for sale). Need to adjust some bezel screws as well, the backlighting is a bit uneven.

I'm getting that exact audio setup (ATH AD700 and AntLion mic). Any tips for making it sound good? Is that a Fiio amp I see?
