All_Over_RSjust don't study
this seems like Helpful Advice
in seriousness though, something i'd recommend doing is thinking about things - say an essay or uni project - in terms of the individual parts that need to be done, rather than sitting down and mentally forcing yourself to 'do an essay'. i finished uni a few years ago and even reading that back now fills me with dread, haha. and though there might be other reasons why you're finding it tough, i think it never helps to force yourself to complete a task that feels so enormous and insurmountable (especially when it's a paper of a few thousand words, or so)
if it's a uni essay, maybe just say like, okay, today i'm going to do a plan, and then later on i can do an introduction and one section, or something like that. or if you have loads of reading, set yourself realistic goals (rather than I Will Read The Entire Library, read half a page and then flit over to twitter)
it means you also get some satisfaction on the way and a sense of actually completing things, which can be motivating - rather than delaying that until 3000 words later on (by which time you're probably burnt out enough to be unable to feel it anyway)
hope that helps. agree about lo-fi hip hop
edit: think i basically repeated Gladbound in more words - whoops, but agreed.
