-w 1440 -h 900 -refresh 75That's what you want to add to launch option so you don't have to change desktop resolution.

same as xai with different processing.
There's more to a mouse than just the sensor.
I'd personally go for a zowie/g400...I've got a deathadder that I needed to spend more money to fix to make perfect.

confirmed incoming mat_disable_phong.
Been waiting since 2010 for this.
@Oafmeal, check if your game has phong or not, apparently fog is a side effect of no phong and w/e is going on right now for certain configurations.

Silent PC forums couple posts down, there are pictures.
You do have to tear open the mouse, tear open the switches and cut up tiny stuff to fit in there... but it works wonders.
Just did this for my deathadder. Make sure the cutouts are large enough so they don't move off, especially the thumb buttons.
