So I have a two monitor setup.

1. 1680x1050 60Hz
2. 1440x900 75Hz

Is it worth using the smaller screen for TF2 for the higher refresh rate? Any advice is appreciated!

you'd probably get a bigger boost to your fps using the smaller screen
i don't think the refresh rate would make that huge of a difference, but i'd still prefer using a 75hz over a 60hz

75hz, nothing lower.

If you have the reaction time (and fps), you'll notice it.

-w 1440 -h 900 -refresh 75

That's what you want to add to launch option so you don't have to change desktop resolution.

Just curious, you wouldn't happen to be using an acer x223?

No, it's a LG Flatron L192WS. Do you have to manually set the refresh rate in launch options? I figured it would default to the refresh rate of the monitor.

Won't the resolution change mess with your perception and aim? Might be hard to adjust at first.

1680 to 1440 isn't a massive change, they are both 16:10 aspect ratios, I feel that makes the most difference in how it feels to aim.

It doesn't feel any different. I actually have to look around less to see things happening so it might be better. Idk.
