#8 Nervous in TF2 General Discussion

I used to get butterflies in my stomach and shaky hands from my first games which during the ETF2L community highlander challenge till my 3rd season or so of UGC.

So it took me 4 seasons of games with the same people through out for me to get comfy.

wezlyyyjp_:O mine are still here

right in the /tf/ folder, not sure why mine works :S

I made the demos using a custom quality cfg and on tr_walkway, if that helps.

#19 massive fps drops - Help appreciated in Hardware

Make sure to clean out the old thermal paste...use rubbing alcohol.

Also, for most applications especially laptop coolers, you wont need to cover the entire die with the paste. Remember the paste is only there to fill in the gaps between the die and the heatpipe contacts.

#5 Driver Fusion in Off Topic
gr8stalinJust download CCleaner

???

FFGalternatively use driver sweeper to remove leftover files from old drivers
(http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html)

the problem with drivers is that whenever you update drivers for video card for example, 95% of people do it incorrectly and this can cause different driver versions to overlap, thus causing framerate drops or another undesirable effects

Driver sweeper is not even being maintained anymore... -_-
2009 was last version

#4 DeathAdder legacy drivers aren't working. in Hardware

Where did you get the legacy drivers. Did you make sure to get the proper version, because there are 2...

Windows Black Edition: Razer site

Windows regular: Razer site

Also, if it is pluged into usb 3.0. Remove it and plug it into a 2.0 hub.

ALSO, do you have any logitech software installed? Their new gaming software apparently creates conflicts with other peripheral hardware.
