No discredit to anyone but I fail to see how losing perm is an upgrade on paper...

Also this will be a sick game.
Cast needs pognon.

You don't have to stop playing unless the pain is instant and constant. Check your desk/chair setup (google ergonomics) to make sure you are doing things right, and start taking more regular breaks (10 mins every hour at least, micro breaks help a lot as well though (ie. while you are waiting to respawn, take your hands off your mouse and keyboard). During breaks do stretches (which ones depend on specific source of pain - google/consult a physio. In my experience general practicioners ("doctors") know very little about these sorts of conditions (unless it is one of the more common ones like carpel tunnel) so use their advice at your own risk, they will most likely just prescribe painkillers. Only if the problem worsens after doing these things do you really have to consider stopping playing. It's also worth nothing that in many (not all) cases, stopping playing for a period of months will be completley negligible. The pain came for a reason and will come again if you do not adjust your setup and habits accordingly, and in my experience it was completley ineffective (as well as the pain spanning far beyond games/PCs so stopping was pointless anyway).
No reason not to start it early. As long as it's held by a trustworthy individual you can figure out who to send later.
SerotoneWeren't Americans complaining when europeans posted in threads about ESEA? Why is there a 5 page thread about etf2l on here?
This place has always been pretty international. It's like asking why are there European streams in the sidebar.
Hildrethnumlockedour side of the story is:
mike has been a typical first year uni student and hasn't started his first assignment which was due on Wednesday. I ask everyone if we can play monday or tuesday and mike says he can't play because he has to get this work done. gear is late at uni (I think) almost every wednesday, so we can't play then either. every other day until the 20th of december we're free after that
edit: afaik, kaidus isn't free until the 22nd of December after this thursday (or at least what he told me), and I'm not free after the 20th as I go back home for christmas without my pc, so the admins weren't left with much choice other than a date which we could all do
From reading this as far as I can tell no team is fully available until after Christmas, so it isn't like the admins delaying it beyond the normal deadline would make a difference. I can't really see how this is the ETF2L admin's fault or specifically Permzilla's like some people are alluding to, feels like the responsibility is on the players here.
Threatening to ban or punish teams for forfeiting when they can't play is a strange one a I can't quite grasp, but the whole scheduling issue is wholly down to the players, unless there is some other evidence that is withstanding.
The admins fucked up the scheduling because the only reason we said we can play friday is as a last ditch compromise, otherwise they just put it to whenever epsi wanted it (ie. when we can't play AT ALL let alone with these ridiculous measures). The reason the admins fucked this up is because they conjured a new date for playoffs (sunday 15th) when the schedule clearly states they finish on the 14th. I planned my trip based around this date, meaning thursday was the only real play day that we couldn't play so we were safe from this kind of default date horseshit - apparently not.
With that in mind, it would mean we had 3 available dates (mon, tues, wed) and epsi had 3 (thurs, fri, sat) meaning there was no way we could be forced to play a day we aren't available.
And how you can just brush over ban threats like it's not the real issue is amazing. We are going to lose - we know that and we don't care. It would have been nice to play a proper final but when it became apparent that couldn't happen we'd of rather this pathetic season ended quietly rather than some awful charade of a final that we've been essentially black mailed into.
Tis in no way epsis fault. I don't trust they gave 100% to make it happen on other days, but they had their reasons to not play other days same as we had ours. How we ended up here is down to really poor administration and nothing else.
