dummphcorsaok ty for clarifying,...dummphlmao this competitive scene deserves to die if everyone's just gonna whine about a new pug system that's guaranteed to help us growguaranteed at low level. it's very beneficial for low level. quite the opposite at a high level
but srsly faceit give the high levels players this stuff they want so they stop complaining..
What stuff exactly are you referring to? Faceit points?

Pro League seemed very rushed without any form of public playtesting in advance. The only thing that comes remotely close to playtesting was the fact that the NA version debuted 1 month earlier than EU, but almost no big updates happened in that timespan like adding sub systems or class locks. It just doesn't make sense to leave an almost perfectly working pug service just to endure TF2PL for maybe 3 months before any good updates would roll out for it. Faceit points are just not worth the hazzle.

seedsa problem that won't be addressed with specific class selection is the fact that a lot of people aren't a certain skill level on all classes and shouldn't be allowed to offclass because it puts one team at a clear disadvantage
even if a pugchamp style add up menu was added then it would need a system where certain people only had permission to add on specific classes i.e. medic
edit to add:
im very much an example of this myself, if i get into a game with another medic main and one of us has to offclass then we're immediately at a disadvantage
To add on this if you're a captain and you ask someone to play the class you intended for them when you picked them, there's literally nothing stopping them from doing a 180 and just offclass. No sub system or class locks whatsoever. Its annoying for the captain and also for the players added since they arent sure what class their captain wants them to play either.

Also just to address Olgha saying LEGO were sandbagging here are the scores of our maps in playoffs (after not even finishing 1st in our division). 4-3, 2-4, 4-2, 3-1, 3-1, 3-2, 4-3. That's not sandbagging, it's just called winning.

b4nnyGo watch WarOwl or Greekgod or any new TF2 player playing competitive mode for the first time. They didn't care nor notice any issues with the enforced graphics settings. Your perspective is biased because you are too attached to your FPS configs. Level playing field, standardization and accessibility is a necessity for the integrity of the competitive mode long term. That said, they should definitely add as many commands/settings as possible to the options menus so that FPS config level graphics can still be achieved while maintaining fairness.
It's easy to "not care" about the settings when they are unaware of the fact that alternative settings exist. You can't just claim that they were completely content with the default settings when the option to alternate them were never presented to them.

ETF2L Allow potential cheater to play in Playoffs

You'd think that now when there's actual money on the line, bans on prem players would take immediate effect. As someone said earlier in the thread allowing a to be banned player to play all of playoffs in a cash-tournament seems fairly irresponsible.
