thalash snipes, stark disguises as friendly sniper. problem solved.
Uh, such a nice map! Especially this WW2 flair remembers me a lot of good ol' Day Of Defeat.
On a side note: There actually is a Valve map called dod_avalanche released for both DoD and DoD:S. So you'd maybe like to check this - just in case. I have no idea if there might occur any copyright related issues regarding the map name.
After reading koth_avalanche, I really thought there's somehow going to be a avalanche remake for TF2 (which would be amazing, at least imo). One of my favorite maps back then.
Exact flamethrower hit reg.
TsarbucksDemoman's true primary is his stickybomb launcher. He uses his grenade launcher as a secondary.
Ah, I see. So you're that kind of demo who uses stickies on DM servers.
Comparing the primary weapon stats of scout, soldier and demo:
Scout: 6 shots (max damage: ~600)
Soldier: 4 shots (max damage: ~420)
Demo: 4 shots (max damage: 400)
Max damage output speaks for itself.
Scout: reloading 6 shots: 3.56s (first: 0.76s; consecutive: 0.56s)
Soldier: reloading 4 shots: 3.32s (first: 0.92s; consecutive: 0.8s)
Demo: reloading 4 shots: 3.04s (first: 1.24; consecutive: 0.6s)
more shots to fire > faster consecutive reload times: makes sense
only half a second slower than fastest reload > get two shots more in total: doesn't make sense (especially considering overall damage dealing capability)
your guess whether scattergun is an 'op' primary weapon or not. possible nerfs: overall mag size or reload speed.
[/every salty demo main who gets stuck in a reload cycle all the time watching a scout still having two more shots to fire]
[/and even if the scouts misses his two gifted shots he can reload faster and kill you anyway]
[/and then there's the hurt feeling left creeping inside you that scout needs no aiming skills whatsoever since it's a simple point-and-click-class that makes prediction skills totally obsolete]
[/and then you fall in love with a japanese girl scout streamer and you don't give a shit anymore because kawaii]
Thank you SO much for this video!
I was doubting my mechanical skills, my internet connection and finally my mental health because of this annoying delay I witnessed in so many crucial DM situations.
On behalf of every demo main: Send this to Valve asap! I have no idea if they are aware of this bug - and it's in the game for quite a while now. I can't nail it down either since when thou.
Cryptoreflex exists :(
Reflex doesn't breathe Quake if you know what I mean.
