Maybe I'm just getting old but I'd really like to see a clean, 90s-esque arena shooter published nowadays in which players only differ by how much they master the game's mechanical skills. Tired of all the "class-based skills" and "skill tree" shenanigans. If your LG-tracking just sucks you rightfully deserve to lose every fight. No need to dumb down skill ceilings.
Quake was/is my only hope in this regard. I really hope they don't fuck this up.
