Shooter it would be great if you taught the word "tact" to lpkane. I think it would do your company wonders.

Found a team, thanks for the support!
remedykuzaReading this thread it's almost like I'm re-reading "A Bugs life" which I often read at night to my kids. The grasshoppers need the tiny ants collecting resources for them to keep their luxurious lifestyle. But when the ants had finally had enough of being treated like crap they turn on the grasshoppers and win.most invite players are not acting that way, but you have to understand killing lan for them (the main reason they play this game) will upset them. it's 100% understandable why lower teams would leave esea for cevo at the moment, but acting like its going to help the game in some way is pretty wrong. it was also the esea administration that treated the lower level (and some of the higher level) teams like crap, not all of invite treating open like crap.
I play in ESEA and will continue to play it s long as it's up, but when the invite players are being just as obnoxious as lpkane, it's hard to feel sorry for them if they lose LAN.
I don't want ESEA or LAN to die, I like playing in ESEA and if I had more time to play I would strive to be in invite. I'm sure at this rate my kids will make invite before I do but that would be pretty cool as well. It would be nice if there was a LAN for them to strive for.
I just hate lpkane's attitude towards the whole situation and TF2 in general. When you don't have the support or respect of the owners of the league you pay to play in, what do you really stand for? To quote the great Pittbull; "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything". The invite players being disrespectful is just an added kick in the teeth cause I fully understand the people that went to cevo this season, even if I'm not one of them.
So I'll continue to play in ESEA, but I'm not about to throw a couple hundred bucks at the league this season like I have in past. If ESEA was hurting because there just weren't enough players, I would help in any way I could. I would provide prizes, league fees and premium for a bunch of people. I've already proven this multiple season past. However, I believe ESEA is hurting because of their actions alone, which I cannot reward with sponsorship. I'm sorry if I view this situation as a realist and an adult, but that's just what I am.

If the top level players need the lower level players, why do you all continue to treat them like garbage? Or why do you ask them not to care when they are being treated like garbage by the league?
Thanks man!! Still looking, I know with only 15 teams in esea open there's not a lot of spots left so I'm willing to just play cevo at this point. I'd rather not be a backup for the season.
I know many people that would, I'm one of them.
I think that issue was CEVO having 2 matches a week and not matching ESEA map rotation. Then teams could have joined both. So I guess some fault goes to CEVO.
I would assume main would become IM and IM would merge with open.
alfaits ok, now you guys can get the real taste of competition in cevo
right
and yeah, you guys showed Ipkane who's the boss by not signing up for ESEA!!!
He banned a friend of mine for 10 years for asking questions. Don't be too upset I'm not in a big hurry to sponsor a team this season like I have for the past 12 seasons.
It almost seems like Ipkane was just no longer happy in this e-lationship. Instead of being a man about it he just acted like a twat until we broke up with him.
Don't blame cevo, this is 100% Ipkanes fault.
The shady part about it is they don't send you emails each time it renews.
Every other subscription does. Servers, Mumble, Netflix all send you emails.
ESEA doesn't because they don't want you to notice it.
Cygnastyyo kuza I'm sure there are in fact dumb kids who put random huge shit in their ears but I'm a huge pussy and mine are fake lol
thankfully my ears look (relatively) normal
Those earnings are deceiving :)
held his own with us back when IM was rough. Good guy!
still looking for more tryouts!
