come back to me one day
Sennheiser HD 598 have an amazing sound stage and overall comfort. Not suitable if you dislike people hearing what you can. I only use them indoors so that doesn't concern me. (my current)
ATH-M50s have great bass and noise cancellation. Not great for sound stage accuracy or long term comfort.
The cord is pretty long for both of these and both don't need an amp (most headphones at this cost range don't). Stay away from wireless, you'll be sacrificing a lot of sound quality. Also stay away from any headset with a mic attached and don't fall for surround sound nonsense when it comes to headphones.
Drop 10 bucks on a clip on mic. Happy shopping!
I'm buying Overwatch when it's released because it looks familiar to what I enjoy in games and I like the idea of a major studio making a class based shooter. I will also continue to play TF2 because it's still a game I'm heavily playing and comp is the bomb yo.
Also, OP, I hope you are considering that people are payed to generate hype and promote a game. That's generally how companies make money. You know, massive advertisement, marketing, publishing, etc. Just because it is a trending topic in video games and people discuss it, doesn't necessarily mean they are "sheep".
Plus, TF2 isn't dead, competitive TF2 is just having an existential crisis.
I find that if you try to promote AR as an alternative to 6s, the success rate will drop immensely for it to become a real league format.
I enjoy both HL and 6s and even threw 4v4 a shot with some buddies, but while AR might not be the answer, it definitely bolds the problem. The competitive scene is divided by HL and 6s to begin with. They are the two most popular formats with people playing either one or the other, and sometimes, both.
Creating a new format might come off as a good idea to bend to unlocks and "Valve's Game" but a lot of what's wrong with that idea has to be how much farther away AR's format is from pub gameplay.
I find HL to be the stepping stone after pub play because of its similarities with a standard 12v12 pub server. After that I can see 6s as another step for a higher skill cap in the eyes of newer competitive player. I don't see AR being the next step after or even the alternative to either of those formats for reasons aforementioned.
5v5 sounded appealing because of major games like CS:GO and Dota2 at first. Everything outside of that though, specifically the rules of AR, pushes the idea away for me.
smobo I'm glad it was released, but I can't help but think it was a marketing hoax.
In a world where Movie Studios hold political sway. Comes a movie so revealing of the inner workings of the political network, it will BLOW YOU AWAY!
This Summer, join Tinfoil Helmet, the owner of Sony Movie Studios. A man so powerful, he somehow managed to get the President of the United States in on a marketing ploy to speak in front of the entire country during a press release to confirm North Korean cyber attacks on a movie studio...

Crasian is our hero, brought to us to protect the meds who cannot, to bring justice to those who off-class to spy, and to obliterate the evil from the shadows of Gullywash Last; Secret. Crasian is what this community needs. Crasian is what TF2 means. Crasian is the savior of this world.
stand alone game called 6s that stays in alpha forever, who's in?
downpourto be fair that cz nerf is kind of overkill
theyve been buffing the other pistols trying to make them as good as cz and then they just SLAM the cz into the ground
valve is not very good at balancing
We all loved having an AK in our secondary that cost $500.
While Lange's frustration is valid, his commitment in time and money can stop, but leaving the game as a whole doesn't have to happen and he said himself he'll be sticking around. Interviews of our invite players even responded to questions of competitive TF2 and the state it's in. None of them seemed concerned with that at all, they just wanted to play.
Making competitive TF2 happen is just about playing. Play the game. Because whether we have our veterans leave or not, as long as the player base grows, so will the chances of competitive TF2. And as far as exposure; Lang might of said it isn't about going to "shtty lans" but GXL made this happen;

and then it turned into;

We are growing, even if it is a small growth, it's still happening; just maybe not as fast as we hope it would. Sure if you're dropping money into production you're going to want your efforts be recognized. The thing is; it is. His opinion is the one we're talking about here. He might want a response back from Valve; and he might not get it. But we're listening. Fucking video games man.

Considering going to this since I've never been to Las Vegas. I promise I won't get white girl wasted... but it's New Years so, retract that promise.
