You need to set your tga folder to your tf folder or else it won't create tga files.

There's no great way to get good footage with just base tf2.

You can use hlae, it's fucking awesome here's how.

Follow these steps, I'm sure you can find a video for each one

1. Get a program to uninstall your current driver
2. Make sure you disable auto update in windows
3. Install the 16.12.2 driver

This is the last AMD driver that works in DX8. You also gotta turn off the option in windows to automatically update drivers because windows will update it right when you downgrade (this would have saved me a few hours back when I did this).
