I know he wasn't on the team at the same time, the point I'm trying to make is you attempted to play with billdozer two seasons in a row. You should also consider a little punctuation because you're starting to sound like neo.

If you are convinced that you can't get picked up on a team because of circlejerks just make a team. This game needs it anyway. If people tryout and don't stay it's because you aren't as good as you think/or they don't like you. Nobody would pick me up in my first season of ESEA so I just made a team, and I'm glad I did, I made way more friends that way.

Flatline I haven't been around too long but I can already see that you're trying out for a team with milan on it, so I don't really trust your judgement in looking for stable teams. I also haven't seen you get better. As much I don't like saam or the way he treats others I have to agree with him. I also have to point out that there a lot of people who play roamer in this community so finding positions is marginally harder. Good roamers sometimes have to stoop down a little bit just because there are so many roamers looking. I guess this is an example of inflation? I'm not sure who got starter roamer spots over you in the past but I can tell you that p3nguin is far better than you (of course that's the only example I have).

I understand I have only been playing this game seriously for ~6 months but I have been able to play two full seasons in which I have been able to improve, so I feel like my word is worth something, even though I do believe some people have been unlucky with teams folding.

• If you aren't getting tryouts you can always make your own team
  
• If you aren't getting tryouts or you aren't getting picked up you are probably overestimating your skill level
  
• If you tryout for a team with player like milan, billdozer, neo, etc. just jump ship before you waste your own time because that shit is going to die and you won't get anything from it (it's really not hard to tell who these players and teams are) @megalinx
  
• If you take a season off you are not going to be as good you would be and people know that

Even though people may not be egotistical retards they don't realize that they are legitimately not as good as other players. People also tend to make strong first impressions and don't realize people get a lot better over time. (This is something I have had trouble with). Ex-Power Pug mains have made it to IM playoffs, (and I can think of one who made it to invite) because they have legitimately gotten better. Rather than focusing on not getting picked up just focus on getting better, because everyone else is getting better in the mean time.

why are so many people allowed to hack and get away with it in this game =(
