GiraffeWould it be possible to add each teams starting roster, I love reading these but am not too familiar with all the IM teams and the majority of esea rosters dont have that info in their description. Great writeup!
yeah, we can add some banners similar to the ones we did during the open playoff predictions last season, we talked about doing these after writing this one. still playing with the format a bit. thanks for the suggestion!

fosternot really sure what is causing it but my game crashes every time i make it to the class menu. Removed my hud (its yahud which is supposedly working) and all my cfgs, but its still broken. I'm probably just going to reinstall tf2, but if anyone knows anything i'd appreciate it.
same thing is happening to me, but i think it has to do with the server rather than anything in my settings, was pubbing fine and then couldnt join my own server. trying to reinstall metamod/sourcemod to see if that helps.

Mr_OwlgrillzI don't mean to take attention away from the non-functioning STVs but has anyone had hiccups on the servers themselves?
my team has had stuttering a dozen times during our matches... on two different Illinois servers (can't recall #)
I actually thought the server my team was on for our first match was amazing. I had all kinds of problems with Illinois servers last season but in the first match at least I was pinging 8-15 for the entire match and had no stutters. Remains to be seen if that will continue, though.
we were on texas 161 last night and it felt really choppy, especially during the beginning of the rounds. this isnt the first time we've had problems with this particular server. i know theres a few other texas servers that are notorious for being bad, not sure if they are consistently shitty.

MangachuWilsonFragophilia Gaming should be up there top 8 brawhile you are saying your own team should be in the top 8 (eGO) he has a point the team has improved a very large amount
this top 8 was more or less chosen by a group of people that was originally going to do an IM preview article. i actually really didn't want to put my own team in to the top 8 but ended up doing it anyway.
i also wanted to edit the just outside and put the "new" royalty in there instead, but i had no idea what their current roster was looking like at the time of deciding who to write about.
i think eGO is a good team. i don't think they scrim a whole lot, and that definitely factors into how well they will do against some of these other teams. madoff is a high IM pocket, no doubt about it. heep and joe are also great players and some good friends. i have no idea if okas > madoff as scout. so with all these questions up in the air it was harder to say they would take the 8th spot over playground tactics according to some people, although if it was solely up to me i probably wouldn't have put us in the top 8 this early.
