I'd probably have been comfortable putting alex in the top 60-70 just off that tbqhPhantomi mean i'll wait til it's out but alex.exe not being on it sounds incredibly terrible if there's gonna be some pocket soldier from 2009 who could barely rocket jump on it in his place
I still and will always disagree with this take lol any of those players that were good "back then" if continued to play would have adapted and learned new mechanics and new meta, the game wasn't even remotely the same between any of these era's. we have also seen lots of players from super long ago continue to play and continue to be on top and learn new mechanics/metas (people like blaze come to mind)
I mean froyo is by far the best team to ever be for sure, but its not like players in 2009 didn't play against super teams and beat them from time to time

The short amount of time I got to play with tanline was super enjoyable. He has a kind for the game and is super constructive and cool when getting his thoughts out and contributing to conversation. 100% an advanced player and I think with the right fit he could jump a playing tier pretty quickly.

Very happy that more people are starting to see da real issue. Fact is a lot of the comp playerbase do not have the attention spam or capability to play this part of the game, they'd rather the game just be mindless fragging for 30 minutes.
Hard agree. Personally as a play and a caller when the game slows down and stalemates it’s honestly always been one of the more interesting aspects of the game for me. Trying to come up with team plays to break stalemates I really do think is the most underrated team skill in tf2. (Or even having good patience and discipline on holds)
