Can someone tell me what happened in short? I was asleep and still don't quite get it after reading these 5 pages. Little bit confused right now

Remove the -dxlevel 80 from the launch options. You only need to put it once to change the dxlevel. Also, it resets the resolution, mayble that's why you put -w 1366 -h 768 as well. Try to open the game without these launch options and tell me if it works.
ExquisiteStonem0nkeilooks like he's using a low viewmodel_fov + r_drawviewmodel 0 to make his beam smaller. Try to use viewmodel_fov 50 + r_drawviewmodel 0 to see if it works.Doesn't viewmodel_fov 0 just remove all added particles and tracers, jsut try both I guess.
No, you need to put both at the same time. If you only put viewmodel_fov 50, the beam will get smaller, yes, but the weapons will be super big on your screen and it will take a lot of screen space, expecially when you reload your primary weapon. You need to put r_drawviewmodel 0 as well so it hides your weapons completely.
looks like he's using a low viewmodel_fov + r_drawviewmodel 0 to make his beam smaller. Try to use viewmodel_fov 50 + r_drawviewmodel 0 to see if it works.
downpour"i wanna play tf2"
*update*
guess im not playing tf2 =/
The update took 1-2 min to download, and i have bad internet. I don't know why you are saying this.
sacred2850yeah updated drivers, directx etc. game cache has been verified every now and then and when folders in /tf have been deleted.
this is what i find weird - if i uninstall tf2, reboot, install tf2 and try to launch it, it will still crash. however, if i uninstall steam (which uninstalls tf2) and then install steam and tf2, tf2 will then work for a few hours before it starts crashing again. i have never experienced anything like it, there is no reason for the game to suddenly start crashing if i am not using any custom cfgs or huds
Try to delete AppUpdateStats.blob and ClientRegistry.blob and tell me if it works.
What do you mean by "HUD replay files"
Update your drivers if not already done.
Try to verify game cache as well.
Did you tried to go a complete uninstall and reinstall of Steam and TF2 as well?
Close TF2/Steam and delete AppUpdateStats.blob and ClientRegistry.blob in the Steam directory.
There is also that if the solution above doesn't work.
Ricknext time dont screenshot text so someone can easily copy paste and edit it
Agreed.
robbELast weapon used automaticly binds to left evevrytime i start up the game.
Can i see your config? You give us little information and it doesn't really help :/
It happened to me for a while. Try to redownload it from the website and put it in the custom folder. It did the trick for me.
robbEThank you,
Do you also know a explanation why my binds keep messing up?
What binds?
He deleted all the vods from his youtube channel, im sad now :(

Why doesn't this work?
Remove the "empty". If it doesn't work, verify that "Wings" is the correct font name in the hudlayout.res
