I would definitely go to this one. And I'd bring 10x more cookies because I won't have to fly there!

At least you got your pics up before Dante posted his promised lan videos...
dashnerI miss you guys
Can we do it all again next weekend?
reillyI don't think it's been mentioned yet, but I think having more food options at the venue would be great. I don't know the logistics of getting that done though. Inviting a third party company to sell their shit maybe?
Food trucks!
I had such an amazing time getting to know all of you wonderful people!
Thanks so much to TheFragile for putting so much more time, energy, and heart into this event than any of us know. I am amazed but so excited that you are up for the challenge of doing it again next year.
Thanks to everyone behind the scenes - you guys did such a great job of being flexible and working through the rigorous schedule on very little sleep.
Sign me up next year for the chauffeur/chef/nurse position, I am so in.
LunacideI'm arriving at PHL at 3:30, if anyone is picking people up or leaving the airport around that time hit me up.
I think technosex is picking up l-block at 3, maybe you can hit him up?
enigmaanyone flying in to PHL around ~12:30 AM on friday?
I'm picking up a few people then, depending on how much stuff everyone has I can probably grab you too?
SabermalaAny chance I can tag along? I'm also going to the station and I need to make a bus back to NY. I'm pretty sure somebody driving is probably faster than public transportation.industAnybody heading south east to Jersey after GXL? I need a ride to PA 30th St Station, can help pay for gas. What time will you need a ride? I'm heading that way sunday night, probably 6pm-ish.
Sure no problem :)
Again, if anyone needs rides to/from the airport or bus/train station I'd be happy to take you - just let me know. I'll be there Fri morning to Sunday night.

I don't mind making a few trips to the airport to shuttle people to the event - just add me on steam and give me a time. I'll be there Friday morning - Sunday late night.
So far I'll be at the airport:
Friday 12:30pm-ish
Sunday 6pm-ish
For walking around at camp and hiking I'd say just go with an hiking shoe/boot or trailrunners. These usually are waterproof and have soles that will hold up. Pretty much everyone is in gym shoes, shorts and tshirts the entire time at camp. It's usually pretty muddy so no use in wearing nice stuff.
I'd say you can't go wrong with mostly anything off this list: backcountry
Particularly I think these would be good (sorry they're all ugly):
Patagonia Drifter - waterproof
Really anything from Patagonia, Keen, Merrell, Vasque, La Sportiva, and Salomon will work great.
If you're in the area or even Seattle you should come out for these - they are a blast! Sadly this one will probably be my last since I'm moving :(
Got a ticket in hopes that I'll be living somewhat closer when October rolls around
I was medical staff there last week. I've got a few pictures and a video for you guys, as well as a little something from the kids. I'll be posting it soon, along with a little bit about the experience. Be on the lookout for it, and if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them.
