dellortI've always considered the process to be either pub>highlander or pub>sixes. It doesn't seem to me that a lot of people use highlander as a transition, a lot of players who start highlander are happy to just continue on with it and never consider sixes to be another step upwards. Because of that I think to expand the sixes scene the focus should be put more towards existing pub players than those who are in highlander. My perspective might be different than most though because I started playing sixes with only about 30 hours of tf2 lol.
i actually got into sixes because of highlander, same goes for my whole first 6s ^^
OdrengenBioOdrengenmartenbackpack menu looks awesome. btw, are that custom weapon model thingies?
Yes it is, you can download them here http://tf2b.com/iconpromo.php
Where do you put them? Mine is in tf/custom/icons/addons but that doesn't work.
Open up the .vpk file with GCFScape, then right click the materials folder and click extract, then extract it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\Mystuff
(It doesn't matter what the "Mystuff" folder is called, you can name it icons or whatever you want)
or paste the vpk in tf\custom :)

Thunderchunkiemarteni read this on a forum the other dayIGL could become a decent way to arrange scrims. They say they’ll start a European 6v6 ladder when 25 teams sign up
i couldnt find anything on the IGL site, anything you can tell me about a possible EU league?

Kiri, according to steam you have only played 720 hours of tf2. You also have only played 7.2 hours in the past two weeks which is very little. Most people that aren't already good at another FPS game don't get very good until about 1000 hours of playtime from what I've noticed. I don't think you're in a very good position to tell people that practice won't get you anywhere if you don't have talent, when you don't seem to have done much practicing.
Tf2 was the first fps game I ever really got into. When I first started I was really REALLY REALLLLYYY bad. I would go 1:10 in pubs as heavy. That's a bit of an exaggeration, but I was really bad. Now after putting a lot of time into practicing. Now when i go play in pubs I get called a hacker every so often when I play sniper. That feels pretty good to me 8)
i was that dude hammering at his sentry and calling people hackers for headshotting me till i hit like 1000 hours :P
for some reason they look like jumping pyros shooting around with lasers
any idea when the vod will be up?
no vod? :(
BaaBoWill there be any EU ones that I could join in? I would like to get better at solly in 6's

gr8stalinI saw a team run all Pain Trains in a scrim years ago on that one lumber-themed map with the badlands-esque mid and the greenhouse in the yard outside second. They let the enemy team cap mid and gambled on the fact that the enemy team would spread out to find where they were hiding and stacked mid. By the time the enemy team caught on, they were already on second and the scouts were going to last.
