DroidsterStaying up 'till 2 for this, better be gud :3
same ^^
BLoodSireglad it helped, make sure you have a key bound to net_graph 3 so you can sporadically check what your interp is, and make sure your other rate values weren't altered. Many times I'll join up and feel like my rockets are swimming in water, then I check the graph and see that my interp is funky due to the rates being changed
also, pray to the rate gods
yeah, i got a key bind to that ^^
BLoodSireI got 99 problem and interp is all of them.
Anyway, interp is reliant on your other rate settings (cl_cmdrate, cl_updaterate). I find that for some reason, despite not having any change to these rates in any of my cfgs, these values will be changed on their own. Depending on what they are changed to, they will not allow interp to go below certain values.
So set both cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate to a value of 66. This should fix your problem or I aint blood rawdog sire.
that fix it. thanks :)
now i can blame myself for being bad
FightmastermartenIdeally you fiddle with it until your interp is 15.2 ms but having it at 100 ms seems like something else is screwed upoverturecheck your cl_interp_ratio
it was set to 2, what should i change it to?
are you running chris' configs? make sure you're on the good net setting and not the bad one, I regularly end up with 50+ ms interp when I use the bad connection settings
no, im using stock tf2 settings. i just reinstalled tf2
overturecheck your cl_interp_ratio
it was set to 2, what should i change it to?
dashtmi was just on a server and it works fine, did you make sure the server you are on doesn't restrict interp or it's not in your config?
i checked multiple servers
Since the update today i cant change my interp to .0152 or to .033.
it stays on 100.0 ms all the time.
i can turn it up to 500 but that is not really what i want :P
anyone with the same problem?
kirbyThe viewmodel_fov_demo command only affects viewmodels within demos. That might sound obvious but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the FOV change ability OpenPlugin gives you. If I'm wrong, then please correct me.
yes you are correct, i just tried the command
i didnt get the joke at first but then i realized, Americans turn the date around.

GG! thanks for casting
i feel famous now :p
Hey tf.tv
a friend of mine has a problem with prec.
whenever he records a demo with prec his team fortress 2 works fine,
but when he tries to watch his recorded demo it lags.
"it feels like it is missing half of the frames"
he has a 120Hz monitor and he thinks it might be that.
Has anyone experienced something like this before? or any idea how to fix it?
it was great, looked so well executed and it was so much fun to watch. i'd like to thank everyone involved, was one of the best events i watched
