WahwahBonafideI wasn't targetting you specifically at all :)
I was targetting the people just throwing out retarded stuff like "its just a moba blablabla" While they haven't tested out the game at all, I mean a good argument that has been mentioned before is take a look how tf2 was back in '07. Just give this game some time honestly, all this labelling about a game thats not even in beta yet.
Fair point. Outside of the few people who have played it, we're really just speculating what it will play like. Shit, looking at TF2 trailers doesn't give you any idea how fast the game can move. I am really looking forward to it, even if I don't end up liking it.
Still not sure how to feel about the wallhack abilities.
i mean blizzard's putting out tons of gameplay videos and stuff so we know what the game plays like, but that could change at any point seeing as the game is in closed beta.
iridescentFUZZThe pellet scatter on certain hitscan weapons really doesn't look very fun to play with, and the game seems like it often becomes a clusterfuck of effects(a much worse clusterfuck of effects than TF2).
As for the point about TF2 players giving Blizzard feedback in order to "Mould the game into something playable by comp TF2 standards", I find that to be a little naive. The way I see it there's likely going to be as many MOBA and traditional FPS players giving "feedback" with their own agendas in mind, and for all you know they may even far outnumber the amount of TF2 players who switch to Overwatch. This of course is assuming Blizzard even takes community feedback in any meaningful sense for the purposes of balance and gameplay.
i don't know why people think blizzard is going to listen to the community's suggestions, i mean look how hard they had to complain to get blizzard to add something as simple as a fucking fov slider to a first-person shooter. they also don't have the best track record with sc2 in terms of listening to their communties.
vod is processing, thanks for watching and ggs!

this is certainly weird. going to view server info pulls up a totally different server name. could be valve testing a public sourcetv for matchmaking servers, or a weird tf2 bug. i'll investigate more and get back to you.
edit: so this is for razer arena i believe. every single one of these servers seems tied to a razer server. although again this could be a tf2 bug.
edit2: confirmed with razer arena staff that these are indeed razer arena stvs.
i don't know why people are painting this game as a replacement for tf2 lol. besides the aesthetic and the fact that it has guns it really doesn't have anything in common.
i certainly won't be moving to overwatch because blizzard will be using professional casters and producers for their streams (which leaves no place for someone like me), and also i really love tf2 and i don't think any other game will replace that, but i will certainly try the game even though i'm not hyped for it whatsoever. but i'll try to play it objectively without comparing it directly to tf2. i personally don't think i'll like it but who knows.
kosStream list in-game would make a huge difference! I'm no expert but it doesn't seem like it would be difficult to implement?
one of the theories i have (this is in no way confirmed by the tf team whatsoever) is that they're tweaking the main menu so the stream list doesn't just feel tacked on, and also for the sake of updating the totally outdated main menu.
naturally i could be wrong and it's just not a priority to them at the moment but i don't think its far-fetched to think they're revamping stuff.
does this mean they have to take the names of the sites out of their weapons skins? just curious since a lot of them seem to be doing that now.
as someone who has lost family members to cancer, this event is something special to me and i try to put aside as much money as i can to it every year. never before has a twitch stream made me so emotional. as i've watched this event evolve over the three years it has happened, i never even imagined that we would collectively raise $200k+ for this cause. thank you to everyone at the event (and those who could not make it) for making this happen and for keeping this going. and to all the donors. this is what makes tf2 great. this is what makes us the best online community. don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
p.s. i would love to help out more with this in the future, shoot me a message if there's anything i can do to make next year's event go smoother. :)
i'm gonna be upgrading my computer in the winter and i'm currently looking at two potential builds.

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/dashsniper/saved/82hwrH
which one would be better for streaming and also running fairly new games at high settings? i'd also like to avoid having to upgrade for a while. i'm leaning towards the x99 of course (hexacore and 12 threads) but there are some people saying skylake provides better performance under certain circumstances. in addition, are the parts i chose for both builds good?
i would also like to overclock the cpu to at least 4ghz if not higher (was able to get to 4.5ghz with the cpu i use atm).
thanks!
edit: i'm also looking at the asus sabertooth x99, which is $80 more but is supposedly better than the one i have on my list. anyone have this board?
great for the price imo, wouldnt pay anything above $120 for them though
vibhavpHeck, even one of his videos are about why highlander is objectively better than sixes.
i know im supposed to be completely unbiased here, and i have nothing against the guy, but that video was in no way objective.
LightstrikerCall me dumb, I thought esea played until 5 points, or did they change the rules?
they never got to 5 points because both halves ran out of time.
rough night lol, apparently my game didnt launch in insecure at first (may have been my fault) and then the esea config didnt switch scores properly. score is 2-0 froyo, NOT 1-1.
