shyRWhat kind of router do you have? I know the reason i was getting lag spikes is because the channel my router was using wasnt distributing the full capacity of bandwidth it could. I called the router company and they fixed it by switching to a higher Ghz channel

Recently I've been getting some strange lag spikes while in TF2 when people on my wireless network are doing things as simple as loading Facebook or webpages. I have a fairly fast connection for what I can get out here so is there anything I can do to tweak my router or connections (outside of QoS which I already have configured to give me high priority)? I'm on ethernet btw, but I'm hooked up to a wireless router.
While we're on the subject of -frags, can we get the old gotfrag feature that marks posts with -10 (or around that number, can't remember) frags as "Fragged" and hides the post's content?

Why would Valve build a feature into the game that would get you banned if you used it? Also stuff like the Mumble overlay uses DLLs.

DrakeMegrimI just played your demo and it was indeed choppy? Do you have a good computer? Have you tried defragging the game?
It's not my computer, I get 120-150 FPS on this game (about 80 on crowded pubs) when I'm not streaming. I defrag my game after every update.
DrakeMegrimI think when you're watching a demo you want an cl_interp of 0.100. Have you tried that?
I tried messing with my interp before and it didn't fix it.
