design the round timer to have on average 5 mins on the clock instead of the ten right now. Also capping shouldn't reset it straight to the maximum. It would have to be tweaked a lot to find the ideal limit that it doesn't get in the way during regular game play but ends bad stalemates.Also win limit 5. Koth is not a tenable solution especially at lower levels and in pugs.
Tino_Yeah I wish I could have caught more on cam tbh, but we were running 0 delay STV and no secondary so unless I could see the future I was going to miss things. As for the smooths between players, that is something we have been playing (?) with for the past 2 seasons or so, ended up turning them off for day 2 because they didnt look quite right.
wow, that actually makes a lot of sense. The camera work felt very different pace than I was used too. I would be all for changes that would make a more informative camera that shows the whole game. What if there were even two people watching cameras?

I dont find stalemates in 5cp to be that bad, even watching high level gameplay. I think it's just a hard game to cast it can look like nothing is happening. Obviously you can still go full crowns and do nothing for a while but that's only when there's a lot on the line.
Pros: meds are encouraged to peek more aggressively, keep the pressure up and a sight line on the other medic
MEd could see a small ad potentially resolving more fights and moving the game forward
Cons: pretty dum mechanic, , can't bluff or hide your lack of building or health
Forces the other medic to run it in almost all situations
Med is even easier to play
The most mind boggling thing in all this is no one has said a thing while teams are panicking deciding to play? We don't even know if this whitelist will be used. Ban the quick fix, ban the solemn vow.
it took 2 days to ban the atomizer and base jumper, a day of scrims at all divisions would be enough testing and have plenty of data but people are going to quit over this? rescue ranger and jarate are banned now anyways.
ShearsOver time, more players queuing up at a time should make games even more balanced than they were before, once elo gets sorted out properly. More players to choose from should mean that the matchmaking system works better, so I think the increase in player count is for the best. Also, as others have said, if you want a level of play that's a little higher, come play mixchamp or pugchamp.
Also, I think that people should remember that all these new players are the future of comp TF2. Every time you're toxic to someone who simply doesn't know how to play 6s properly yet, you're actually hurting the chances of survival for the community as a whole by limiting the chances that that player will continue to play and actually get good at the game.
We were all absolutely garbage at 6s at one point. I believe that the more you help new players through constructive criticism, the more likely they are to improve and stick with the game, sustaining the community as a whole.
