In 2009 they added tf_use_fixed_weaponspreads 1 (which affected just shotgun/scatter spread) and tf_damage_disablespread (which removed damage variance).

There was a small window in maybe 2013 or 2014 where the pistol didn't have spread. This is hidden lore and no one seems to remember the pistol being perfect for a few weeks. The fixed spread was removed in the next patch.

Season 35 ends April 30th. With the right amount of effort we could have healthy competition for an alternative next season.

Banning a team for an entire season for a non-cheating infraction is laughable. Genuine reason why my team and I did not play RGL this season. I do not trust RGL admins to get anything right and cannot justify supporting such a poorly run league. Vote with your participation and wallet if you want a better league. If you keep signing up season after season despite how awful the league is, don't expect any improvement. Complaining on the forums does little to change anything.

You can still scrim and enjoy the game even if you aren't signed up for a league.

Its been a full calendar year since John played TF2 in a league and he's still feared by open players. If he still holds residence in your head then he's still winning.

I found out my good buddy zilly is not allowed to play Main division.

So we've reshuffled our lineup to try and play Advanced division.

I think we as a community should stand up for ourselves here. These are difficult times for all of us. A small prize pot is meaningless. We more or less play for the love of the game. ETF2L for most of its existence never had a meaningful prize and yet competition was healthy.

I feel it would be more appropriate if RGL was free this season with no prize pool. Although a $20 USD ($28 CAD) entry fee doesn't seem expensive, it is a big ask for those in financial hardship. I'm an old timer with bills to pay and mouths to feed.

If there is an entry fee this season I will find a way to cover it (for the love of the game).
