kuzaradiumI'm 24, have a job, a Master's, a decent car, and I pay my bills - but I don't have enough to move out. My best option right now is a "starter home" that I can buy in about 1 year from now provided I do some debt-elimination.
I actually have to MOVE from where I grew up (and my family) in order to find affordable housing (and employment). Housing costs are going to destroy the 15-30 y/o generation in this country.
There are some decent places about an hour out in Baltimore - but if we're not talking there then I'll be shipping my ass out to the deep South (which is not bad considering I know people down there thanks to college). I'll never be able to afford 90% of Maryland.
you could team up with a buddy to buy your first house. And really, anything you put into a house you get back, plus some. We made 90K on our first house after only 5 years, so in the end it's worth it even if you don't live in your desired area yet. It does get better!
Depends on where you are, I don't think house prices are rising in much of the United States post-recession

from what ive seen marijuana is really hit-or-miss, for a lot of people it's helpful and for others it has little to no effect

brownymaster#8 has it. There are already a lot of west coast MGE servers that have nospread/nocrit. They might not have class locks and what not, but a majority of people won't be trying to offclass against you.
yeah but if the reddit -> mgeit resurgence is any indicator, mgeit is still better than the alternatives
the problem is no one wants to be the first to populate a server when it's 0/20
I say, everyone should just get a friend and go in there and get it going

SpamfestI don't understand the pug.na offclassing rules. Are they meant for the situations where the offclassing guy's teammembers are complaining (where's he just being completely useless) or are they meant for when the other team complains?
they should be when his own team complains, unfortunately a lot of people are so terrified of losing in pugs that they'll complain when the offclassing guy shits on them
